Dyno Department
Complimenting our engine building services is
the Dyno testing department. Our two engine dynomometers can handle
almost any engine test you might require. We have mounting set–ups
for many engine types and can custom mount almost any engine. Because
we have two cells, we can undertake long development projects whilst
also continuing with our day to day production tests.
Rolling Road
Our chassis dynamometer is a useful tool for checking
our engines once they are installed in the car. We also offer tuning
and mapping sessions. The power limit is about 350 BHP at the engine.
We carry a large stock of Weber carburetor jets.
Machining Department
The Machine Shop back-up is essential to the engine
build department. Constant fine tuning of components for individual
engines makes the difference when you require that last percentage
of power.
The Machine Shop also offers a full design and
machine service for any low volume components.
Crack Testing
Crack testing carried out on any component part.
Engine Mapping
Full mapping carried out on a wide range of system
or map your own engine whilst it is on the dyno.
Balancing
We can balance cranks and all rotating and reciprocating
parts to very fine tolerances.
